Collision Towing

Getting in an accident is never a good thing! But if that should happen while in Surrey, Langley, or Delta area, BC Towing can help you with your collision towing needs.

If you are involved in a car accident in BC, then there are five things you should do right away. They are:

If your car has over $1000 damages, file an accident report.

  • Call 911 immediately if anyone is hurt.
  • Exchange insurance information.
  • Ask the other party for their driver’s license to confirm their name.
  • Write down the license plate number, car make and model of the other party, as well as their name, address, phone number, and driver’s license information.

Calling the police can take between 15-55 minutes and the police report may take an additional 45 minutes to complete. If you call the police one of the parties involved (if not more) will get issued a traffic fine and charged. Another, and quicker, option is to order a towing truck to go directly to a reporting centre.

If you have an insurance coverage, make sure that you use a towing company that works with your insurance so that you aren’t charged for the towing expense. Remember, no matter what anybody says, YOU choose the towing company and the auto mechanical shop to fix your vehicle. The tow truck driver, the officer and the insurance company DO NOT have any right to tell you where to go. It’s always your choice, and we hope that you choose BC Towing – the best of the BC towing companies!.
